On April 1, 2024, 100% of online sales was donated to help grant wishes for Hawaiʻi children with critical illnesses.

HONOLULU, HI — Maui Divers Jewelry, a local Hawaiʻi jeweler, hosted a one-day fundraiser on MauiDivers.com on April 1, 2024. During this event, 100% of online sales were donated to Make-A-Wish Hawaii — raising $35,081.25 to help grant life-changing wishes for critically ill children across the state. Customers had the opportunity to purchase jewelry made exclusively in Hawaiʻi while contributing to a cause close to home.

"One of Maui Divers Jewelry's goals within the community is to focus on the growth and happiness of the keiki (children) in Hawaiʻi. What an amazing opportunity to partner with such a wonderful foundation like Make-A-Wish Hawaii. Together, we can celebrate the young lives that make the Hawaiʻi community so special."

— Cole Slater, CEO, Maui Divers Jewelry

"We are so grateful for Maui Divers Jewelry's generosity in donating 100% of online sales on April 1, 2024 to support wishes for children across the state. This is a wonderful way to kick off World Wish Month, a monthlong celebration of WishMakers whose support we rely on to bring joy and hope to children with critical illnesses when they need it most, helping them envision a brighter future."

— Trini Kaopuiki Clark, President & CEO, Make-A-Wish Hawaii

About Make-A-Wish Hawaii

Make-A-Wish Hawaii (MAWH) creates life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. Research shows that children who have wishes granted can build the physical and emotional strength they need to fight their illness. Headquartered in Honolulu, MAWH is considered one of the top charities in the state, with every dollar raised in Hawaiʻi staying in Hawaiʻi to support local wishes.

In operation for more than 40 years and one of the first local chapters established, MAWH continues to be among the busiest Make-A-Wish chapters in the nation. Since 1982, generous donors, supporters, staff, and more than 400 volunteers have granted more than 1,700 wishes for local keiki across the state — and have welcomed more than 18,000 children from around the world who wished to visit the islands.
